SACRED SPREAD
Yes or No Spread
For a 'will it' or 'should I', see the leaning and the reasons
About this spread
The yes-or-no spread is one of the most popular in tarot: when your thoughts are racing, you want to know the general direction first. Each of the three cards has its own job. The first gives the leaning, the second shows why, and the third hands the initiative back to you. Rather than a final verdict, it shows the current trend and how it might change.
When to use it
A question where you mainly want a direction: will they come back, will this work, should I make the first move
What each position means
- 1
Current leaning
The main direction of energy right now: flowing or blocked
- 2
Hidden influence
A key factor shaping the outcome that you may not have noticed
- 3
What you can do
Whatever the leaning, the part that is in your hands
How to read this spread
Focus your question into a single clear yes-or-no question, such as 'Will this interview go well?', and ask about one thing at a time. Read the three cards together: the direction most of them point to is the current leaning. If they pull against each other, the matter is likely still open, and your choices are still shaping it.
